Redesigned Toyota Global Website Goes Live

 

Toyota City, Japan, March 12, 2014―Toyota Motor Corporation today launched its redesigned global corporate website, www.toyota-global.com. The redesign achieves significant improvements in four key areas:
Multi-device compatibility
Internet users now access information through a wider range of devices than ever. In line with this, Toyota’s revamped site uses responsive web design principles to enable optimization for as many devices as possible. Starting today, these compatibility improvements will be rolled out across the site.

Personalization
Visitors can now choose to have the site remember which pages they visit. Once the function is activated, the site provides personalized content recommendations based on view history, making it even easier to find information of interest.

Engaging content
In addition to information on Toyota's business and products, the site will now offer an increasing amount of content that tells the story of Toyota through engaging, behind-the-scenes glimpses of the company and its people.

Toyota Global Newsroom integration
The redesigned website offers seamless integration with Toyota's recently launched Global Newsroom, http://newsroom.toyota.co.jp/ (Japanese site launched today; English site launched on November 1, 2013). In addition to press releases, the newsroom offers a wide range of content, including blog posts and downloadable visual assets.
