Toyota Group Members Provide Support for Ebola Outbreaks in West Africa

 

Toyota City, Japan, November 10, 2014―Toyota Motor Corporation will donate 17 vehicles (worth approximately 50 million yen) to the World Health Organization (WHO) to support WHO's efforts in response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

The vehicles are planned for use in support of medical activities in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In addition, Toyota Tsusho Corporation will donate 6 vehicles, medical supplies and make financial donations through the Red Cross, UNICEF and other aid organizations to Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Toyota extends its heartfelt sympathies to all those who have suffered from this disease, and hope for the soonest possible resolution to these outbreaks.
