Toyota City, Japan, February 26, 2015―Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results for January 2015, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Hino Motors, Ltd.

  • 26.9 percent share of market including minivehicles (0.04 percentage point increase)
Daihatsu
  • First decrease in two months
  • Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 51,000 units (17.4 percent decrease); first decrease in two months
  • 31.0 percent share of minivehicle market (0.7 percentage point increase)
Hino
  • Ninth consecutive month of increase
  • Standard truck sales totaled approximately 2,000 units (4.0 percent increase); ninth consecutive month of increase
  • 36.2 percent share of the truck* market (2.8 percentage point decrease)

  • First decrease in two months
  • 40.6 percent share of market including minivehicles (0.6 percentage point increase); fourth consecutive month of increase
