Toyota City, Japan, May 28, 2015―Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results for April 2015, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Hino Motors, Ltd.

  • 32.7 percent share of market including minivehicles (5.3 percentage point increase)
Daihatsu
  • Decreased
  • Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 36,100 units (27.9 percent decrease)
  • 29.8 percent share of minivehicle market (2.2 percentage point decrease)
Hino
  • First increase in two months
  • Standard truck sales totaled approximately 1,600 units (75.4 percent increase); first increase in three months
  • 35.6 percent share of the truck* market (4.1 percentage point increase)

  • 45.0 percent share of market including minivehicles (2.5 percentage point increase)
