Updated Statement Regarding Suspension of Production at Plants in Japan

In a statement issued on February 1, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announced that, due to parts shortages resulting from an explosion that occurred on January 8 at an Aichi Steel Corporation (Aichi Steel) manufacturing facility, all production is expected to be suspended on its vehicle assembly lines within Japan from February 8 through 13, with operations scheduled to recommence on February 15.
